Join our Buddy Program and provide cultural/language knowledge in response to the questions presented by the clients.

Help the children of a client with homework
Practice English with any of the clients in the home
Connect clients with previously unknown community resources
Assist the adults in the family with setting up appointments, paying bills, or reading correspondence
Refer clients to COC staff when their questions surpass the volunteer's general knowledge

Volunteer would assist the Case Managers in:

Work behind the scenes:

Collecting donations: Help verify possible donors, arrange donations collections, and distribution
Help with donation distribution, supervise furniture delivery
Fundraisers: Tabling at events, local markets, spreading awareness, etc
Events (such as: National Welcoming Week, etc)
