WHAT WE DO
The Ethnic Community Self-Help (ECSH) Program, also known as Mriya (“Dream” in Ukrainian), provides one-time financial assistance to eligible Ukrainian refugees in need of short-term support as they rebuild their lives in the United States.
Our mission is to help families and individuals achieve stability, independence, and self-sufficiency through compassionate aid and community support.
WHO WE
SERVE
This program serves Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in the United States under humanitarian or refugee status and are working toward independence.
We proudly support refugees living in Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough Counties, helping them overcome financial obstacles and establish stable, safe living conditions as they integrate into American society.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a Ukrainian refugee who arrived in the United States before September 30, 2024

Reside in Pinellas, Pasco, or Hillsborough County

Be legally employed
-
Have a household income not exceeding 200% of the federal poverty level
Applicants will be asked to provide the following documents (may vary based on individual case):

Valid passport

Travel Authorization
-
I-94 form
-
Proof of income (recent paystubs or checks covering the past 90 days)

Proof of address
-
Lease agreement
-
Recent utility bill
